How to Upgrade Your Ultimate Social Proof Plan
Upgrading your plan unlocks additional features and higher limits for your social proof notifications. This guide walks you through the upgrade process step by step.
Step 1: Open the Settings Page
From your Shopify admin, navigate to Apps and open Ultimate Social Proof. Once inside the app, click on Settings in the navigation menu.
Step 2: View Your Current Plan
On the Settings page, you'll see a Subscription card displaying:
- Your current plan name (Free, Basic, Plus, or Pro)
- Your subscription status (Active, Pending, etc.)
- Your plan limits, including notification limits and available features
Step 3: Click the Upgrade Button
Click the Upgrade plan button (or Change plan if you're already on a paid plan). This will redirect you to the Shopify billing page for Ultimate Social Proof.
Step 4: Select Your New Plan
On the Shopify billing page, you'll see all available plans with their features and pricing:
- Basic – Great for small stores just getting started
- Plus – Perfect for growing businesses needing more notifications
- Pro – Full access to all features with the highest limits
Review the features and pricing, then click Approve on your chosen plan.
Step 5: Confirm on Shopify
Shopify will display a confirmation screen showing the recurring charge details. Review the information and click Approve to complete your subscription.
How Billing Works
Ultimate Social Proof uses Shopify's built-in billing system. Your subscription charge will appear on your regular Shopify invoice alongside your other Shopify fees. This means:
- No separate payment method required
- Charges appear on your existing Shopify bill
- Easy tracking of all your app expenses in one place
Instant Feature Activation
Once you approve the subscription, your new plan features activate immediately. There's no waiting period—you can start using your upgraded limits and features right away.
The app automatically detects your subscription status change and updates your account. Your new plan limits will be reflected on the Settings page within moments of approval.
